Experiment § Universal testing machine
The universal testing machine can be equipped with different fixtures to perform tensile, compression, shearing, peeling, bending, and other mechanical tests. Recently purchased the third universal testing machine (Figure 1,2), which is different from the previous two floor-standing universal testing machines with a load capacity of one metric ton and thirty metric tons. The feature of this table-type universal testing machine is that the resolution of the load can be as small as two grams, which expands the experimental data of small load materials. In addition, the sampling frequency can be as high as 1200 Hz, and the experimental data is more accurate. At present, we apply it to the peel strength test of adhesive tapes (Figure 3), the strength test of adhesives for flexible copper foil substrates (Figure 4), and the elongation and elastic modulus of flexible plastics (Figure 5).

Activity § Protect the environment with action
The beach cleaning activity in the second half of the year was held in November. Although it rained that morning, we still did not dispel our determination to clean up the coast (Figure 1, 2). This time is different from the participation of the executive co-organizer of the Environmental Protection Bureau of Yunlin County. First, this event has explained the composition of coastal waste for us, so that we understand the importance of beach cleaning, and give us an environmentally friendly lunch box. It advocates the replacement of "disposable" from "reusable" for plastic life (Figure 3, 4). We picked up a total of 167 kilograms, including 84.5 kilograms of general waste and 82.5 kilograms of recycled resources. Everyone is very happy to take action to protect the earth's environment (Figure 5).
Knowledge § Why do we need to remove water in high-pressure air?
The air compressor converts normal-pressure air into high-pressure air. When the air pressure becomes higher, the moisture in the air will condense into moisture and deposit on the bottom of the air pressure barrel. Therefore, the water at the bottom of the barrel must be emptied every day. If we forget to do the operation above, the water in the bucket will accumulate too much, and it will be sprayed out along the pipeline with high-pressure air. Some high-pressure air is only used to propel the machine, so a small amount of moisture in the gas will not affect it, but some high-pressure air will come into contact with resin, coating, food, etc. If moisture enters these materials, the situation will be worse. In this case, we will install a freezer behind the air compressor to allow any possible moisture to condense in the freezer to ensure that the high-pressure air must be free of moisture.
Living § Learning by doing, doing by learning
I'm from Thailand and I have been a salesperson at Everwide for nearly two years. Since I have no relevant work experience, I must start to learn from basic chemical knowledge of adhesive materials, familiarity with company products, use of sales skills, and team strengths. During the two years, I had the honor to participate in different project plans, such as the Taipei exhibition, catalog production, packaging improvement, advertisement publication, B2C market development, etc. I have the opportunity to communicate across departments, so I can understand different thinking, understand each other's needs and reach a consensus, and learning allows me to grow rapidly. During this period, nothing has given me the most sense of accomplishment than the success of the case. From developing new customers, then understanding customer applications, and then recommending suitable products. If I want to achieve success in my cognition, I need to go through constant discussions, listen to opinions and improve. Although not every case will go smoothly, even if I fail, I can learn from experience and get resources on how to do better next time, which becomes the cornerstone of progress. I deeply understand that leaving school does not mean stopping learning, but applying what I have learned to work, and continuing to absorb new knowledge to create value in work. I hope that I can maintain an attitude that likes to study new things and challenge knowledge in different fields. Recently, I am studying a major in the field of marketing because I hope to improve my strategic thinking ability, grasp market trends, and customer needs, and be able to develop potential customers and expand sales channels. In the future, I look forward to observing things from work so that I can cultivate independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
