Experiment § Large potting and resin experiment
Epoxy resins are often used as potting materials. Small batch formulations are common, but large potting with room temperature cure formulations are much less common. Our challenge is whether the reaction heat can be effectively reduced after mixing A and B agents? When the pouring weight is heavier, the heat release will also increase, and the material will have the risk of bubbling, obvious yellowing, severe shrinkage, etc., which will affect the appearance. In this experiment, the potting resin was increased as much as possible under the premise of controlling the reaction temperature. We first use a wooden hexagonal column mold and paste the release cloth on the inner layer (Figure 1), then fix the mold on the release glass with resin (Figure 2), and finally pour the mixed AB glue into the mold slowly and record the change in temperature (Figure 3). After standing at room temperature for 24 hours, the mold was disassembled to obtain the finished product (the pillar-like object in Figure 4 was cured and formed after 4-5 different experiments). At present, the maximum amount of pouring is about 1.5 kg. The maximum reaction temperature is between 60°C and 80 °C. The mold can be removed within 24 hours. The cured product is light yellow and has a glass transition temperature of about 35 °C (Figure 5). We will continue to experiment to make the process of room temperature curing and mass potting more feasible.

Activity § Year-end meeting and a new beginning
Due to the epidemic situation, in order to avoid clustering, our year-end meeting is divided into 5 venues in the factory to be online simultaneously (Figure 1). The content of the meeting includes the achievement reports of various departments, the outlook for this year, and the propaganda and cooperation matters. The dynamic activities in the process keep us refreshed and refreshed. There are also static "primitive habits" to share, reminding everyone to persevere and build good habits. As usual, we will watch a movie, and this year is "Your Name Engraved Herein" (Figure 2-4). Before the end of the meeting, learn to express auspicious words about the Year of the Tiger in sign language, and wish each other "great luck in the Year of the Tiger" (Figure 5).
Knowledge § Characteristics of composite materials
Composite materials have the following characteristics: 1. Compared with metal materials, composite materials are lighter in weight. 2. The "specific strength" obtained by dividing the strength by the specific gravity, the result of composite material is higher than that of metal. 3. Compared with other materials, composite materials are easy to design and form. 4. Compared with metal materials, composite materials have better corrosion resistance and better vibration damping performance. 5. Compared with metal materials, composite materials have low mold cost and low surface treatment cost. 6. Compared with ordinary plastics, composite materials have good fatigue resistance, good rupture safety, and good dimensional stability.
Living § Experience work, unlimited fun
At the end of last year, I participated in the company's product shooting, which included application introduction and plastic material experiments. The script was discussed many times before shooting, and the feasibility of the experiment had to be simulated, including the weather resistance, bearing capacity, non-toxicity, adhesion, and adhesion of the adhesive. During the process, we encountered many difficulties, such as how to attract consumers when shooting? How do let users know how to use the product? How to strengthen product advantages and highlight differences? How to highlight product packaging, brand design, video narration, etc. is a big challenge for me when I try it for the first time. Before shooting, the photographer went to the factory to do a simulation and found the gap between the actual operation and the imagination. After communicating the revised script, we feel better than the original. On the day of the shooting, I discovered that just to capture a shot requires various angles, synchronized shooting by multiple cameras, and constantly confirming the effect, which made me have to admire the professionalism of the photographer. Due to the complete planning in advance, the shooting process was quite smooth, and the shooting of many scenes was completed to maximize the use of time. This filming gathered the wisdom of everyone, which gave me valuable experience and the joy of working. The film is currently being edited and dubbed, and everyone can't wait to see it, right?
