Experiment § Application of UV type hydrolyzed glue
UV-type hydrolyzed glue is often used to temporarily fix or temporarily protect the glass surface during glass processing, such as CNC processing, glass cutting, or hydrofluoric acid-resistant manufacturing processes. When in use, the UV glue is first coated on the substrate by screen printing or dispensing, and then the two substrates are bonded together, and then the substrate to be processed is fixed by the resin by UV exposure. Then the glass is processed; whether it is cutting or etching, the adhesive must firmly set the substrate. After the processing is completed, these materials are soaked in water to hydrolyze the resin, lose adhesion and separate, and obtain processed glass products. In hydrolysis, the use of warm water or ultrasonic vibration can improve the efficiency of this step. According to the hydrolyzed type, UV-type hydrolyzed glue can be divided into dissolving type and swelling type. They are all made of materials with high water absorption, which are very different from general resins regarding moisture and water resistance, which poses a new challenge.

Activity § Progress comes from diligence and is retarded by indolence; success comes from forethought, while thoughtlessness leads to failure.
Every year, we have a training program and arrange for colleagues to receive various external training and apply for certificates. Some colleagues use their time to study and obtain relevant qualifications. To encourage everyone to learn actively, we will present awards and praise at the year-end conference. Colleagues who help everyone prepare Chinese food every day but have a C-level Chinese food cooking license! 19 colleagues have a forklift license, and 3 colleagues have obtained a Class B air pollution license. Some colleagues have passed the qualifications of Class B Toxic, Class A Wastewater, Quality Engineer (CQE), and ISO9000 Leading Auditor. The most remarkable thing is that the 6 colleagues were admitted to the Certified Quality Technician (CQT), which encouraged other colleagues to participate in relevant courses one after another. Everyone discussed with each other and cheered each other. I hope everyone can enjoy the joy of learning, make progress together, and obtain certificates together, and come to receive the awards together next year!
Knowledge § Why should UV glue add stabilizer (Inhibitor)?
The UV glue of the acrylic system will undergo chain polymerization in the presence of free radicals. Unexpected free radicals will cause viscosity variation, colloid formation, and even hard lumps. The source of free radicals may be the decomposition of trace amounts of peroxides caused by temperature. It may also be that trace catalysts in the system promote the decomposition, or it may be that the system has anoxic reactions, etc. Adding 500~1000ppm of stabilizer to the UV glue of the acrylic system can eat these unexpected free radicals and keep the UV glue stable. A small amount of inhibitor will not affect the photo hardening rate of the UV glue, but adding an excessive amount of inhibitor will cause the reaction speed to slow down. Some stabilizers need to be dissolved in the air (oxygen) in the resin to take effect and need special attention to maintaining the solubility of the air; some stabilizers can cause the resin to stain, which is also required to pay attention.
Living & No tears in Moscow
I traveled abroad for the first time to St. Petersburg and Moscow in Russia. There was a lot of preparation before the trip. Air tickets, youth hostels, and attractions were all arranged by myself. From scratch, it took two months to plan. I never thought that I could set foot in the largest country in the world, just because my friend said: "Russia, we can see a lot, come on!" The journey began. At the end of May in St. Petersburg, because of the eternal day, the sun was still visible at ten o'clock in the evening, so when I arrived in St. Petersburg, I was greeted by the "sunset." The Hermitage Museum here is the fifth largest museum in the world. Many collections made me go to "iron legs," and I still don't want to give up. When I went to the city of Pushkin (Catherine Palace), I was yearning for it, and when I found the scenic spot and prepared to take a selfie, two smiling girls asked me in jerky English if I needed to take a photo for me. I hesitated for two seconds before handing the camera out. Thanks to these two girls for taking pictures of me enthusiastically to no longer only have half-length selfies. Attraction books always reminded us that "Russians are not very friendly to East Asians." However, during this trip, I met many people who helped travelers. Moscow's Red Square is quite beautiful, but it has a creepy atmosphere because the Kremlin is right next to it. St. Bashir's Cathedral, on the other side, is a frequent visitor to postcards. It is very touching to witness her demeanor and listen to the introduction of the guide of the Chinese tour group. The short 11-day self-service tour also quickly came to an end. The beautiful scenery and beautiful humanities and art have changed my stereotype of Russia's bluntness and indifference. I hope that one day I can explore the beauty of Northland again.
