Experiment § Leveling is important

The peeling of the edges of some poured products is not necessarily a resin problem. We came across a case: Put a PCB board in a container, and then fill it with epoxy resin encapsulation. If the position of the PCB board is tilted, this part will be cracked at place A when placed at -40℃ for a week (Figure 1). If the PCB board is forcibly taken out, it can be found that the cracks occur at the short side of the colloid (A in Figure2). The reason is that the colloid shrinks at low temperatures, the adhesive area on the short side is smaller than the long side, and the colloid shrinks to the center of mass for a long distance, and the stretch rate is large, so the short side is prone to peeling or cracking (A in Figure 3 ). If the PCB board is placed horizontally, when the stress will be symmetrically distributed in the center of mass, there will be no cracks. It can be seen that if the physical problem is solved, many troubles of materials will be solved.

Activity § Start to clean up the fifth factory

After the purchase of the fifth factory, a series of clean-up work followed. After the basic work of weeding and cleaning, we discussed in detail how to deal with the equipment left by the previous owner, and actively sought out the next owner for the equipment that we could not use. Recently, the boilers, reaction tank pipes, filter presses, distillation, and centrifugal equipment in the factory were removed one by one, and more than 30 people were dispatched. After everyone worked together to clean the barren plant, it gradually became clean and refreshing. We even found little tadpoles in the ditch! Wehoped that new production equipment can be stationed at an early date to expand production lines and increase our production capacity.

Knowledge § What is SGA?

SGA (Second generation acrylic adhesive) is the abbreviation of second-generation acrylic adhesive and is often synonymous with two-component acrylic structural adhesive. FGA (First generation acrylic adhesive) refers to the first generation acrylic adhesive. The main components of FGA adhesive agent A are monomers, polymers, and peroxides, and agent B is a catalyst. The monomer and polymer do not undergo grafting reaction during curing, so the strength is poor. But SGA improves this shortcoming, during the polymerization process, the monomer and polymer (often rubber) can react together to obtain good strength. The use of SGA is often to coat A and B on a surface to be bonded. When the two surfaces are bonded together, the catalyst will quickly decompose the peroxide and cause the adhesive to cure. SGA has the following characteristics: no need for accurate weighing, no stirring, fast curing at room temperature, easy to use, long storage life, good toughness, high peel strength, suitable for oil surface bonding, good water, and oil resistance, cold and thermal shock resistance... etc., The applicable temperature is about -40~150℃.

Living § I am from Taiwan!

At the end of March, it was supposed to welcome the early spring when the flowers were in full bloom. The sudden heavy snowfall caught me by surprise when I visited Tochigi Prefecture for the first time. It also opened the prelude to the trip to visit a Japanese aunt who married. Unlike many Japanese women's Shou Tie Club (meaning resigning after marriage, staying at home with husband and educating children), the aunt inherited the unremitting spirit of Taiwanese and became a professional woman after marriage. In order to let their children receive a good education, the aunt and uncle worked desperately to make money. In the 2008 financial tsunami, because of her foreign status and age, the aunt was first sent by the company and faced the dilemma of being unable to pay her tuition. The couple insisted on struggling, doing several jobs, sleeping only two hours a day, and barely let their cousins finish their studies. I asked my aunt, "Are you sad when you were repatriated?" Aunty smiled heartily and said, "How can I have time to blame others! I must find a job in time! The job opportunity you get now, if you don't grasp it well, it will be gone tomorrow." My aunt said that she learned to optimistic and never give up hope in Japan. "Because of the infinite possibilities in the future, so we cannot give up hope in order to meet a better future!" Before I left, I said goodbye to Utsunomiya Station. I couldn't bear to look back, wave my hand vigorously, and tell my aunt to cherish herself. Because I know that she will still work hard in a foreign land with the Taiwanese spirit she is proud of. With unyielding personality, do not bow to fate, let the Japanese admiration, proudly told them: "I am from Taiwan!"
