Experiment § condensation cure type silicone rubber
FX184-9 is a new type of condensation curing silicone rubber. Resin A is hydroxy-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, which occurs condensation reaction after mixing with the hardener B silane compound, and volatilizes small molecules to obtain a cross-linking cured adhesive. Condensed-type silicone rubber is often applied in potting. Compared with the addition molding silica gel, it will not be unable to cure due to the contamination of the workpiece and the catalyst poisoning. When the potting depth increases, it takes time for the small molecules to volatilize. If the small molecules did not leave completely, the gas will expand violently at high temperature, causing the adhesive to be forced to crack (Figure 1,2). In order to meet the operating time and hardness penetration at the same time, rate control becomes very important. After cured at room temperature for 48 hours, put it in 200°C oven (Figure 3). The small molecules still have the phenomenon of cracking. After adjusting the formula, it was cured at room temperature for 24 hours and then put in 200°C oven. Although the substance was reduced, it did not leave completely (Figure 4). With the same formula, it was cured at room temperature for 48 hours and then put in 200°C oven, and the adhesive had no defects (Figure 5).
