Experiment § Solve problems of bubbles
The customer requires the glass to use the screen printing to bonding. After the customer receives the sample for testing, it is found that bubbles appear on the workpiece (Figure 1,2). Why do bubbles appear? The possible reasons are as follows: 1. The product is a two-component adhesive, which needs to be mixed and used according to the ratio. Air will be mixed in when stirring. If the pressure is insufficient when vacuuming, air will remain in the adhesive. 2. Air bubbles will be mixed during screen printing. 3. The volatile matter is generated during the curing process. 4. The additives added to the formula volatilize. In order to solve the problems, we check the customer's process and found that there was no problem with the defoaming process. Therefore, we speculate that the surface tension of the glue is different from that of the glass, and the glue cannot wet the glass surface well, so bubbles are generated. Because there is no adhesive in the cavity but it needs to be attached, so it will produce a situation like air bubbles (Figure 3). If it looks like bubbles but not bubbles, it can't be solved by adding a defoamer, but with a wetting agent. Screen printing is easy to produce bubbles, we still need to test according to the actual different workpieces provided by the customer, in order to find a suitable solution.

Activity § Introduce the instrument in English
Before the epidemic, sometimes will have foreign customers came to our factory. Colleagues will introduce Everwide to the customer and the equipment to let customers know how we test the data and experiments of products (Figure 1). In order to enhance the ability to introduce instruments in English, we have opened a course about instrument introduction and practice in English. The whole course was discussed in English. First, select some machines for an explanation, and other colleagues will ask questions about the content, and then will give some suggestions (Figure 2-4). The colleague said, "This course gives us a chance to practice English with each other, and we also learn a lot of new knowledge and different professional words. I look forward to applying what I have learned in this course to our work when our clients visit us in the future."
Knowledge § How to identify biomaterials?
The same chemical structure, some come from biology, and some come from petrochemical raw materials and the two can be distinguished from the ratio of the two isotopes of carbon-12 and carbon-14. Most of the carbon in nature is carbon 12. But cosmic rays will hit the nitrogen in the air, so a small amount of carbon-14 will be produced. It is a radioactive element and will slowly decay into nitrogen-14. Living organisms take carbon into the body due to respiration or food, including carbon 12 and carbon 14, which have a fixed ratio. When the creature dies and is buried in the ground, it will no longer breathe or eat, and the carbon-14 content will gradually decrease due to decay. The carbon 14 in petrochemical raw materials is very small, so just measure the ratio of carbon 12 to carbon 14 to know how much of this material comes from organisms.
Living § Cooking sharing
I don't have enthusiasm for cooking and lack talent. I am too lazy to cook after work. Basically, my meals are solved by buying fast food outside. Due to a long-term unbalanced diet and frequent absorption of excessive oil, sodium, and sugar, the results of physical examination reports in recent years are very unsatisfactory. In addition, because of the epidemic, in order to reduce the risk of infection. So I made up my mind and started to learn how to cook seriously. The first dish I tried was shrimp and egg-fried rice. The ingredients and preparation were simple so it would be easy to succeed. As a result, there was too much salt and the firepower was too strong, causing the fried rice to become salty and burnt. However, failure did not dampen my confidence, but made me more courageous and understand the importance of basic skills. It turns out that to make delicious dishes, every step is not simple from selecting ingredients, preparing ingredients, controlling firepower and time, etc. After many attempts, I slowly began to master some key skills and made many satisfactory dishes, such as mapo tofu, sweet and sour pork ribs, curry chicken rice, and so on. "Nothing in the world is difficult for a willing heart." From this matter, I understand the meaning of this sentence. Don't attribute the failure to lack of talent, and give up the heart to make progress. As long as you continue to practice, you can still make up for your weaknesses.
