Experiment § Two-component ductile material
In epoxy resin formulations, if we want to improve the flexibility of the cured product, we mostly choose to use molecules with a linear structure to achieve good flexibility. However, this type of molecule usually has some disadvantages, such as slow reaction at room temperature, insufficient colloid cohesion, and poor fatigue resistance. We developed the JE192-3 product, a modified two-component epoxy resin. Compared with the general soft epoxy resin, it has a faster reaction speed, and the cured product has excellent toughness. The cured test piece was subjected to a bend test and was found to have excellent elongation (Figure 1-3). When we applied the product to caulking and surface modification, it also had good crack suppression properties (Figures 4, 5). You are welcome to contact us.

Activity § Objectives and Role Positioning
This year, the "GoodGuys" team has been invited to give lectures in the factory four times. The third lecture has ended, and the fourth lecture will be held on September 16th. The course uses an enthusiastic approach to promote co-constructive relationships among teams and create positive interactions for each other (Figure 1). The third course's goal is to discover our and our partners' original intentions, formulate goals and design our own life blueprint, and then implement the action plan (Figure 2, 3). In action, we have seen colleagues move forward step by step with the goal, try to break out of their comfort zone, and demonstrate their unknown abilities (Figures 4, 5). Colleagues have made such feedback, that is, making life plans step by step, knowing where to go until you have a goal, and the course helps us think about a different outlook on life. Everyone is looking forward to sharing "Creating Yourself with Creativity" next time!
Knowledge § What does the sunscreen badge mean?
Sunscreens are best known as "SPF," which stands for protection against UVB, which can cause sunburn and reddening of the skin in a short period. When sunscreen advertises an SPF value of 50, it means delaying the time of sunburn by 50 times. In contrast, UVA will tan the skin, so there is a "continuous tanning coefficient PPD." Most products use PA+ for simplified conversion of PPD. "PA++++" written on the outside of a product means delaying the skin darkening time by 16 times. The two indicators SPF and PA represent "sun protection intensity," and some indicators emphasize "sun protection breadth and sun protection uniformity." For example, "critical wavelength" represents the absorption wavelength of sunscreen, and the higher the number, the better. "★" represents the absorption ratio of UVA and UVB bands; the more the number, the better.
Living § A place with beautiful scenery
I am from Vietnam, graduated from National Chiayi University, and am a salesperson. In February, I left Taichung and moved to Yunlin, so I have little impression of it, except that it is a county and city that mainly focuses on agriculture. At first, I was worried that Yunlin County would be boring and inconvenient because there were not many buses and no department stores, but after a while, I gradually liked it. Because I feel that Yunlin people are very friendly, whether you know them or not, there are often people outside to greet you, which makes me feel warmer as a foreigner. There are many fields here in Yunlin, and we can hear the birds singing. It feels like returning to my hometown. Many places are also suitable for walking and exercising, such as Forest Trail called Long Guomai, Huashan Trail, etc. If you are lucky, you can even see monkeys on the mountain! We can also go biking and fishing on weekends and hope to have the opportunity to experience it later. Finally, my favorite is the beautiful sunset at Yunlin. In the evening, the sky is filled with orange, red, and yellow colors, which always makes me want to stay and watch. When I came to Yunlin, I learned how to enjoy the slow life in the field, and at the same time, I am happy to meet the challenges of work. We are often busy chasing but forget to appreciate the beauty in front of us. If the two are balanced, we can enjoy work and daily life.
