Experiment § Dam & Fill

Dam & Fill is a liquid barrier material used for component encapsulation, which first uses Dam to form a barrier area around the component, and then fills the space in the area with Fill. Dam adhesives are characterized by high shaking ability, which allows the glue to be stacked layer by layer to a height sufficient not to collapse and cure to form a barrier wall like a dam (Figure 1). As the component shrinks, the line width of the glue output must also be shortened (Figure 2). The customer sets the line weight and stack height according to the needs (Figure 3). Fill Because it needs to fill various gaps in the area, leveling is an important property that appears flat after curing (Figure 4). Fill adhesive will come into contact with protected components, so it needs to have excellent moisture and electrical properties. Because of the large amount of glue, it must also have low shrinkage characteristics. Everwide has launched Dam adhesives JE382 series and Fill adhesives JE383 series, both of which have excellent low water absorption and shrinkage. JE382 and JE383 have coarse fillers with an average particle size of 24 μm. JE382-1 and JE383-1 have finer fillers with an average particle size of 7 μm. Activity § Everwide Cup Badminton Exchange Tournament

The company hopes employees can achieve work-life balance and encourages colleagues to participate in leisure activities outside work. This year, the company rented the badminton gymnasium of Pomegranate National High School, which is open for us every Thursday night from 6 ~ 9 pm. The stadium is only a 5-minute drive from the company, and with easy parking, you can see everyone after work on Thursday to “fight” there. After badminton became a popular activity, the competition became a natural fit: all participants in the competition were rewarded, and the first-place prize was 3,000 yuan. Then again, exercise is good for the body and mind. Everyone should get moving!

Knowledge § When to use wetting and dispersing additives? (2)

The first reason for using wetting and dispersing additives is that the resin has difficulty "wetting" powders and granules. Whether the surface tension of the resin is too high or the surface tension of the powder and granules is low, if the polarity difference between the two is too much, the resin cannot wet the powder and granules. The wetting and dispersing agent comprises two structures, one with a special force on the surface of the powder and granules. The other structure will stretch in the resin so that the structure of the resin affinity can grow on the surface of the powder and granule so that the resin can easily wet the powder and granules.

Living § An unforgettable experience at the exhibition for the first time

At the end of May this year, I was honored to be appointed by the company to participate in the exhibition in Indonesia as a developer and translator. Although I grew up in Indonesia, I have not been to the capital, Jakarta, because of the size of the country. I was excited to hear that the exhibition was in Jakarta. During these 3 days of the exhibition, with my familiarity with the company's products, I will be more familiar with the situation than the local translators and provide more professional instructions for the locals to understand. This is also why many people were at the Everwide booth in those days~ After the exhibition, we used the 2-day rest day to go shopping and eat food. On Sunday morning, I went to the Jakarta Church with my friends. Then I took Mae Ai and Xianglan to visit the Indonesian National Monument, which we Indonesians call "Monas," which means "Monumen Nasional." Built-in 1975, the 137-meter-high tower is shaped like a candlestick. At the top of the tower, a gold flame sculpture, about 6 meters in diameter and weighing about 14 tons, shimmers in the sunlight and becomes the tower's characteristic. It was built to commemorate the independence of Indonesia. Walking along the road in Jakarta, we also bought rice pancakes to eat, and in the evening, we went to the restaurant to eat specialties. Compared to Taiwanese cuisine, most Indonesian dishes are heavier in taste. It's spicy, salty, and sweeter, but these are all tastes I miss. Although I can't go home this time, I'm very happy to be back in Indonesia. Thank you very much to the company for giving me this opportunity. I hope to participate next year and will work hard for the company.
