Experiment § Anti-yellowing LED PU potting adhesive
The JU017 series is a two-component polyurethane adhesive with low viscosity and good fluidity. It is suitable for packaging electronic parts or protecting components (Figure 1). This product has strong resistance to yellowing when exposed to UV. The polyurethane JU017 series and the epoxy system were compared in this experiment. The test pieces were placed in the QUV weathering test machine and irradiated for 150 and 300 hours. The results show that regardless of whether the test piece is exposed to 150 or 300 hours, the polyurethane JU017 series has better weather and yellowing resistance than the epoxy system (Figure 2). It is suitable for anti-yellowing systems, infusing car lights, LED lights, etc. JU017 series experimental data are as follows: The mixing ratio of this product is 1:1. It can be cured at room temperature after mixing. The AB agent viscosity is S14/100rpm 1,000~2,000cps. The hardness Shore A=70. After curing, it has strong flexibility and is not easy to break when bent (Figure 3). The product passed -30°C~70°C, 100 cycles of hot and cold cycle tests.
