Experiment § Mini LED walkway glue

Mini LED is a high-resolution, high-contrast display technology with sub-millimeter light-emitting diodes (LED). Compared with traditional liquid crystal display technology, Mini LED has the advantages of higher brightness, higher color saturation, and longer service life, so it is widely used in TVs, mobile phones, tablets, and automotive displays (Figure 1). We recently developed a JE481-5 one-component epoxy resin adhesive for Mini LED panel related applications. It has low viscosity and good operability, allowing the colloid to penetrate the bottom of each lamp bead (Figure 2), so it is also called the "walkway glue" of Mini LED. This product has excellent bonding performance and fast reaction speed. The curing condition is 100°C/30 minutes. After curing the surface appears matte to avoid reflection that interferes with the LED light effect (Figure 3). If you are interested in the product, please contact us.

Activity § Vietnam Industrial & Manufacturing Fair

We participated in the VIMF Exhibition for the first time. The three-day exhibition attracted more than 400 companies and more than 20,000 visitors. During the event, colleagues recommended suitable adhesives based on guests’ application needs. Some of our products are sold to Vietnamese customers through distributors, and customers come to our booth to provide valuable feedback and suggestions on the products. The exhibition strengthened ties with existing customers and led to new cooperation. This year Everwide participated in 8 domestic and foreign exhibitions with different themes. For more information on the exhibition, please visit the official website or Facebook. We look forward to seeing you again next year. Prostech is Everwide's authorized distributor in Vietnam and supports Everwide in this exhibition.
Knowledge § What is moisture-reactive PU hot melt adhesive?
Moisture reactive PU hot melt adhesive is used the same way as PU hot melt adhesive. High temperatures are used to melt the resin allow it to flow, and then coat it on the material. When it cools, it crystallizes and can quickly have bonding strength. Compared with PU hot melt adhesive, moisture-reactive PU hot melt adhesive has a smaller molecular weight and lower processing temperature. It is an oligopolymer and has the functional group of isocyanate. When the moisture-reactive PU hot-melt adhesive is cooled and solidified, the isocyanate will react with the moisture on the material's surface or in the air to form a bridge and become a thermosetting resin, which will not melt if reheated. In contrast, if PU hot melt adhesive is heated again after cooling and hardening, it will melt again. Because moisture-reactive PU hot-melt adhesive will eventually build bridges, its bonding strength, mechanical strength, high-temperature strength, resistance to latent degeneration, chemical resistance, etc., are all better than those of PU hot-melt adhesive. On the contrary, this kind of hot melt adhesive cannot be reworked after hardening, which is its disadvantage.
Living § DIY storage box

I have been interested in assembly and DIY since I was a child because the creative process allows me to use my imagination and is also a brainstorming practice. When I have free time, I also do improvisations and hand painting. Sometimes an idea comes to my mind, and I start thinking about combining my wild ideas with practical skills to make unique handicrafts. This time, I tried to make a storage box. Materials used include wooden boards, matte paper, and Hakka printed cloth. The making process starts with thinking about how to make. After determining the size and shape, the board is cut to the required size. The edges must be sanded repeatedly until smooth to avoid scratching your hands. After the cutting, the wooden boards are fixed using a tenon structure and adhesive to ensure a stable structure. Then, cover the wood with your favorite floral fabric to add texture and beauty to the piece. Finally, a magnetic pull ring is added to the outer layer to make the wooden box more convenient, and the exquisite storage box is completed. It can store hair accessories, candies, or other daily necessities and looks beautiful. I am very satisfied with this box. It combines creativity, practicality, fun experiences, and a sense of accomplishment in the DIY process. If you are willing to try, both beginners and experienced creators can create unique works. If you are interested in handmade creations, I look forward to exchanging experiences with you!

This is such a helpful breakdown of Mini LED technology! I especially appreciate the detail on how it improves brightness and color saturation. It makes me think back to when I first started experimenting with display projects – I definitely made some messy glue applications that I wish I could redo! For anyone else diving into visual projects, I've found tools like Omni Flash can really help bring ideas to life with AI-powered video generation, which is pretty mind-blowing these days. Thanks for sharing this informative newsletter!
The One-component epoxy adhesive sounds promising for Mini LED reliability—does it maintain thermal stability under the high brightness conditions you mentioned? I've been using https://samaudiotool.com
The JE481-5 one-component epoxy resin adhesive sounds promising for Mini LED assembly given the brightness and longevity claims. I've been using similar solutions for automotive displays and would love to see more data on thermal cycling performance. https://3daimaker.com
