Interactive Platform § Exhibition Information of Everwide Chemical in 2008

Everwide Chemical participated in the 2008 Taipei International Electronics Show and Suzhou eMEX Electronics Fair in October this year and took this opportunity to have further exchanges and contacts with you. The 34th Taipei International Electronics Show and the 8th Suzhou Electronics Show have accumulated early popularity and reputation, and once again provided Taiwanese manufacturers with a stage to showcase their professional R&D strength and multi-faceted development potential. The theme of our company's Taipei International Electronics Show this year is the announcement of the projects of the four R&D departments of Everwide. In addition to electronics, handicrafts, carbon fiber, optoelectronics, etc., the R&D department will announce updated project themes. Experiment § Intrinsic property or extrinsic property

Recently, the company newly purchased the TMA instrument, which has a set of kits for bending tests, just like the bending test of the universal material testing machine, but it is just a reduced version. As a result, the flexural modulus of the epoxy resin formulation measured by TMA was as high as 30,000MPa, which was much higher than the 2,000~3,000MPa measured by the universal material testing machine. The reason for this is that mechanical strength is originally an extrinsic property, which means that this property will behave differently depending on the test object. That is to say, the data obtained by different sizes of test pieces will be different. Another term is intrinsic properties, which do not change due to changes in the test substance, such as specific gravity. Therefore, whether the ultra-high modulus obtained by TMA is credible actually depends on whether we can figure out this thing with our customers. If there is one aspect that cannot be understood, no matter how much you think about breaking your head, you will not be able to explain how the difference of more than one order of magnitude comes from.

Knowledge § Couplant

What is the function of the couplant? 1. Reduce the overall viscosity of the system. 2. Promote the dispersion of inorganic fillers in organic resins. 3. Improve the mechanical strength of the product. 4. Improve the electrical characteristics of the product. 5. Increase the product's ability to resist environmental factors.

What are the common couplant? 1. Silanes. 2. Titanates. 3. Zirconates. 4. Zircoaluminates. 5. Aluminates. 6. Chromate (Chromics, +3).

 

Product introduction § IM016-10

IM016-10 photocurable resin, under the irradiation of short-wave ultraviolet light (254nm), reacts rapidly and forms, the cured resin has good adhesion to plastic material, especially suitable for PC plastic sheet material. This product is glued by screen printing, printed on the PC plastic sheet, and dried, and the adhesion is good by the cross-cut tester. The product features of IM016-10 are 1. The ink has good printing characteristics. 2. Good adhesion to plastic materials such as PC.

 

Living § How to teach kids to learn? (2)

We didn’t have much pocket money when we were young, but there was no upper limit on the budget for buying books (extracurricular books). As long as we saw books we liked in bookstores and book fairs, most of our mothers would buy them for us. This type of extracurricular book includes fairy tales, biographies of great people, world-famous books, popular science series, etc., and the scope is very wide. I remember that when I was in elementary school, I was sick and went to the hospital to see a doctor. During the consultation, my mother bought me a book on space exploration. It wasn't until I watched the movie "Apollo 13" in college that I realized that my knowledge of landing on the moon could be traced back to that book. I think my parents' way of "teaching us to learn" is to create a natural environment for reading and let us develop the habit of reading and seeking knowledge. Since reading and seeking knowledge have become my habit since I was a child, even if my academic performance was not good at times, it did not destroy my interest in reading books. A while ago, the school was on holiday because of the typhoon, and I was sitting at a small table reading the information on the "Rheometer". At first, the two children were arguing, and the quarrel was overwhelming. In the afternoon, I said to them, "Dad has been reading books all day, so you should take a book to read like Daddy, okay?" After listening to my words, the two children sat obediently for nearly two hours. Many people ask me, "How do you plan to teach children to learn"? Do you want to help them learn coding, teach English, and learn computers? Actually, none of these things matter to me. What I thought in my mind was how to replicate the experience my parents gave me, create an environment where children would like to read, and cultivate their habit of reading and seeking knowledge. I think these things are valuable assets that can really follow them for a lifetime.
