Experiment § High Haze AG Adhesive Made of PC
Anti-glare coating (Anti-glare, AG) is coated on the surface of the optical film and has the effect of anti-glare, and is widely used in 3C products, such as PET, PC, TAC, etc.,. AG uses the uniform distribution of the particle surface to reflect the light to different places, which can reduce the reflected light of the processed surface and reduce the interference of the light to the vision. AG can also improve the film's properties such as hardness, contact angle, scratch resistance, solvent resistance, and chemical resistance (Figure 1). Recently we received requests from customers for AG coatings on the PC films: The coating cannot damage the surface of the film, the haze requirement is 75±3%, the gloss requirement is (60°) 20±5%, and the refractive index requirement is 1.45~1.5. We have adjusted the formulation of GS623 because we have to be careful to select ingredients that do not harm the surface of the mask. After agents A and B are mixed evenly, AG is coated on the PC film, then baked at 60°C/2mins, irradiated with UV energy of 600~800mJ/cm2, and finally, a PC anti-glare film is formed (Figure 2). Its light transmittance is 1.6%, haze is 75.3%, gloss (60°) is 20%, and refractive index is 1.48, all of which meet customer requirements (Figure 3). Activity § Life in March
New interns have reported to Everwide. We hope that they will learn the interpersonal communication and group cooperation in addition to acquiring extracurricular knowledge and practical experience in Everwide (Figure 1). This year, we have new try in R&D professional courses, such as 10 study group , where everyone reads the same book together and quickly organizes practical knowledge (Figure 2). We have lectures on the prevention of illegal abuse in the workplace, advocating the elimination of all kinds of violence in the workplace to protect the physical and mental safety of partners (Figure 3). The carpets in the audio-visual classrooms were replaced with new, the updated classrooms became cleaner and tidy (Figure 4). New colleagues and interns also participated in the activity of "Everwide's History (1)" to learn about the company's past development history and build a consensus on working together for the future (Figure 5).
Knowledge § Disadvantages of fiberglass
Glass fiber has many advantages, but it also has the following disadvantages: 1. The density of glass fiber is about 2.5~2.7, which is similar to aluminum, but heavier than carbon fiber and organic fiber. In other words, composites made from glass fiber are a bit heavier than carbon fiber composites. 2. The strength of glass fiber starts to decrease at 250~300℃, and the strength is only 1/2 of the original strength at 550℃. 3. The glass fiber will be corroded by hydrofluoric acid and phosphoric acid. Low-concentration lye solution at high temperature or high-concentration lye solution at room temperature also has the ability to erode glass fibers. 4. Glass fiber still has the nature of glass, that is, the abrasion resistance and folding resistance are very poor, and it is easy to break. 5. The hardness of glass fiber is high and may wear the mold.
Living § Importance of protecting the environment
Is the earth sick? Who made it sick? In order to pursue interests and meet needs, human beings continue to destroy the earth in various ways. For example, many marine organisms die due to eating the garbage which we made, and even some organisms are facing the extinction. We often use disposable items for convenience, such as plastic bags, plastic boxes, etc. This white garbage cannot be cremated, and it will not rot when buried underground, causing soil pollution and seriously affecting the ecology and the environment. My children and I have participated in several beach cleaning activities organized by the company. We hope to make a little contribution to the earth through practical actions. This activity can also teach children the importance and urgency of protecting the earth. In the process of participating, I really realized that garbage is really everywhere, and I couldn’t help but feel a strong sense of guilt and indebtedness in my heart. In fact, sometimes I also reflect on the fact that the earth was originally healthy and beautiful, but some of our actions destroyed the beauty of the earth, and then we imagined various ways to repair it.
