Experiment § Low-cost thermal paste

Thermal paste is used to fill the gap between the heat-generating component and the heat-dissipating component to improve the thermal efficiency and optimize the heat transfer. In order to avoid contaminating the components with silicone oil, we have introduced non-siliceous products to avoid the production of siliceous volatiles. In order to obtain a high thermal conductivity, inorganic powder with a high volume integration rate must be added as a filler. When the powder content is too high, it can have an adverse effect on the process and operability. Optimizing the process by centrifugation can greatly improve the wettability of the finished product and significantly improve the operability (Figure1,2). The JA447 series has been adjusted and clamped into a glass piece (Figure 3) to simulate the state of the adhesive material inside the workpiece. After high-temperature baking, high temperature and high humidity ,cold and hot shock, and other reliability tests, the quality is still stable and reliable, there will be no shrinkage and cracking phenomenon, and there will be no air holes occur, welcome to contact us if you are interested (Figure 3~5).   ——Author: Mr. De-Zhong, Chen

Activity § Chemical storage room

Everwide is a formula factory, which needs to have a variety of raw materials to be able to research and develop. We will continue to collect raw material samples, which will be put into the chemical storage room by special personnel for R&D personnel to lend and use. In order to meet this need: the storage environment must be ventilated, the sample spectrum must be established, the written data must be documented, and there must be rules for lending and returning. The rules mentioned above are all based on the establishment and maintenance of colleagues over time. So far, we have collected 10,300 samples and recorded 3,303 loans last year. In order to make better use of the chemical storage room, we import these data into the "Knowledge Management System" to make the search and transmission of information more efficient, so that our R&D capabilities will be better and better (Figure 1~5).

Knowledge § When should the coefficient of thermal expansion of a resin be reduced? (1)

Different materials have different coefficients of thermal expansion, and if these materials are fixed together, when the temperature changes, there will be stress between them, which will cause deformation, delamination, cracking, and other problems. If resin is poured into a metal shell part, the resin cures to protect the part. The resin of this part expands at high temperatures, which can cause the metal shell to bulge outward. The resin shrinks at low temperatures, which is a more complicated situation: The resin has a considerable adhesion to the metal shell, the shrinkage stress will cause the metal shell to concave inward. If the shrinkage stress does not pull the metal shell, the resin may dent itself from the surface. When the shrinkage stress exceeds the strength of the resin itself, the resin will crack. If the resin does not adhere well to the metal shell, the resin and metal shell may delaminate when the temperature decreases and the resin shrinks.
