Experiment § The birth of a new generation of STPU

After developing and launching the FS006 series of three moisture-curing adhesives in transparent, black, and white colors, they have recently received technical support from Japan to launch the FS013 series for the improved versions of PC, ABS, PVC, and PMMA plastic materials. Moisture hardening glue. This model is modified by acrylic resin. Compared with the 006 polyether series, it has higher tensile strength, higher heat resistance temperature, and chemical resistance, and it has the chance to be upgraded to UL grade. The Japanese side is very interested in Everwide Chemical's application in the electronic industry for moisture hardening. Japan's previous focus was on the building materials industry, such as sealing wooden floors, tiles, cement, and glass windows. However, the unit price is somewhat lower than that of Silicon. The price difference is large, and the price is about two to three times higher. It is necessary to find high value-added uses. The electronics industry meets this demand. In Taiwan, Japan only cooperates with Everwide Chemical in this market and hopes that everyone will work together to share new markets outside of the UV hot baking process.

Activity § Progress and transformation

Everwide Chemical recruited three levels of training R&D personnel this year. In addition to the basic academic requirements, we also designed a series of courses to train new colleagues. From manufacturing and production to packaging finished products, from book knowledge to instrument introduction and even R&D experiments, these trainers must pass strict qualification examinations after two months of step-by-step study and then enter the laboratory as internships after passing the review. R&D assistant, the internship period is as long as one year. To train the trained R&D personnel, many senior R&D personnel of Everwide Chemical also joined the ranks of the courses. "The naming of light-curing monomers," "composites," "fracture behavior of polymers," "aging and stability of polymers," "revelation of light-curing resin formulations" are all carefully designed courses. There are currently 15 people participating in the training program, and 9 people have passed the qualification examination.

After 10 years of hardening, Everwide Chemical has transformed from a thin black caterpillar into a strong and beautiful butterfly. We hope to inject new blood into Everwide's 10-year operation and create more excellent products; we also hope that senior and trained R&D personnel can learn more new knowledge and enrich their talents forever. Everwide Chemical brings a new atmosphere and enters the following brand new 10 years.

Knowledge § Is the heat resistance of a resin with a higher Tg better?

Tg is not necessarily related to many things, and the heat resistance of resin is another example. Silicon's Tg is very low, but it has better heat resistance than many high Tg resins. The resin combination is composed of non-reactive diluent and external plasticizer; even if its Tg is higher than the resin combination composed of reactive diluent and internal plasticizer, its heat resistance is still far inferior to the latter. The Tg measurement methods are different among many different brand materials, and it is impossible to compare and then predict who has the better heat resistance.

The relationship between Tg and heat resistance is only in one combination of the same manufacturer and the same series. Once the essential components are changed, it may affect.

There may be no simple relationship between Tg and heat resistance when it comes to high-temperature cracking behavior.

Living § Thank God for letting our economy go down

During the economic crisis last year, our company's turnover was only 40 to 50% of the average for several months, which frightened everyone.

During that period, units dropped sharply due to the absence of orders, the workload of the manufacturing department, quality control department, small-batch production, etc. In contrast, the R&D department and the business department are relatively unaffected because a formula factory-like Everwide always has a lot of things to develop and many markets to be created.

However, many colleagues have no work; what should I do? We made some mobilizations: some colleagues helped to make test films, some helped get samples, and some helped clean up the environment and maintain the equipment. After this adjustment, the workload of the R&D department has become heavier, and it even needs to work overtime every day to put forward a lot of needs for test pieces and samples for colleagues who are not working.

In addition, several colleagues also come to the factory on holidays to record which corners need to be cleaned up and which places need to be cleaned so that there will be no gaps in work during the working day. It is also worth mentioning that we use one hour every Thursday to organize study and training for the manufacturing department. The content ranges from labor safety, environmental protection, production knowledge, ISO to sharing the reading experience. After such an arrangement, we did not lay off employees, reduce wages, or leave without pay. We all spent the winter together.

If we look back at the past year's efforts, there is no dramatic result due to more experiments. After all, the development of market products and the breakthrough of technical bottlenecks are long-term basic skills, and sprints may not bear fruit. But this time, the experience effectively eliminated the barriers between departments, made work arrangements more flexible, and colleagues realize the true meaning of mutual assistance and cooperation. These are all intangible gains in addition to the actual revenue figures.

The economy this year is better. But I still can't forget to thank God for the economic downturn last year.
